Ghanaian renowned reggae dancehall musician Stonebwoy has sparked mixed reactions online after a video surfaced allegedly showing him picking money from the stage during Davido and Chioma CHIVIDO2025 wedding ceremony.
The star-studded event held in Miami, USA, on August 10, 2025, brought together celebrities, politicians, and top industry figures from across Africa.
Stonebwoy was one of the special guest performers invited to entertain guests at the lavish celebration.
In the circulating clip, Stonebwoy is seen delivering an electrifying performance while performing his hit single “Activate” alongside Davido and his newly wedded wife.
However, during the ceremony, some guests reportedly sprayed cash on the stage a common cultural practice at Nigerian celebrations.
The video appears to show Stonebwoy bending down to pick up something believed of the money, sparking a wave of conversations.
Some fans from rival camps, in reaction to the viral film, accused Stonebwoy of taking money from the stage, asserting that his actions were inappropriate and a disgrace to Ghana.
Conversely, others backed him, arguing that it was his bracelet that fell, not money as many have alleged.
