Most Ghanaian veteran actors in their old age, are almost always forgotten because they no longer grace the screens of Ghanaians to entertain them.
One of Such actors who have been forgotten is Prince Yawson and affectionately called Waakye in the showbiz cycles. According to a post sighted by chillxone.com on Precious Tritone Maw’s Facebook post, in 2013, Waakye suffered from a mild stroke.
His condition according to the post, based on medical reasons he has been banned from having sex since then.
The 60-year-old has been off the acting scene since he fell sick and is recovering steadily from his ailment. Waakye is a divorcee with two beautiful daughters. Waakye became famous during the popular TV Drama series “Obra” which was shown on the National Television GTV. He starred in popular movies like Ogboo and Man Woman. He has also featured in most of Harry Laud’s productions and series like Jagger Pee series and the Living Arts Show.
