Gospel singer Broda Sammy recently sparked a conversation on social media with his unconventional views on having children before marriage during an interview on NeatFM.
The discussion arose when the host inquired about his marriage. Broda Sammy shared, “Marriage is good, but I advise people to have children. I would never recommend getting married.” He explained that marriages can encounter problems, which might lead to one partner leaving, whereas a child’s love remains constant.
He further stated that even a difficult child would support their parent if the marriage fell apart. Emphasizing his point, Broda Sammy said, “For me, I choose childbirth over marriage.” Although he is married himself, Broda Sammy believes that marriage benefits women more than men, which is why he doesn’t encourage others to get married.
