John Dumelo, a Ghanaian actor and aspiring MP of the Ayawaso West Constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), appears to have been betrayed by some of his colleagues. The likes of Kalybos, Bismark the Joke, and Prince David Osei, have joined forces with Dumelo’s political rival, Maa Lydia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), to campaign against him.
They have hit the street of the constituency to rally support for Maa Lydia and President Akufo-Addo.
However, some other celebrities such as Joselyn Dumas, Xandy Kamel, Fred Nuamah, Beverly Afaglo, and Belinda Dzatta, have shown massive support to him with James Gardener promising to be there for Dumelo.
James, in a post sighted, praised Dumelo for his resilience, and the efforts he put into helping the people of the constituency during the Corona pandemic. He also urged Dumelo never to give up in his quest to enter parliament.
