Brazilian starlet Endrick continues to enjoy himself when he gets the call from Carlo Ancelotti after the 18-year-old opened the scoring against Real Sociedad.
Real Madrid, who remain on the hunt for a treble this season, faced a tricky away day in Basque country at Reale Arena, with Kylian Mbappé and Federico Valverde both absent through injury, while Rodrygo started on the bench.
But up-stepped Endrick to slot home expertly in the 19th minute after chesting down Jude Bellingham’s perfectly weighted ball over the top to give the Spanish giants the lead.
With that Endrick has now bagged four goals in three starts in the Copa del Rey, extending his overall return this season to six goals in four.
No Mbappé? No problem.
