Bernard Nyarko: Kumawood actor’s mother weeps in new video
Bishop Bernard Nyarko’s mother, Auntie Ceci, has been spotted for the first time since her son’s untimely passing.
As it has been widely reported, Bishop Nyarko passed away at the Greater Accra Regional (Ridge) Hospital on Saturday, May 2, 2020.
The gigantic actor had been battling cancer of the colon for some time and had been going in and out of hospital for treatment. Following the news of his passing, many of his Kumawood colleagues have blamed his mother for refusing them access to the actor while he was sick. But it later emerged that Auntie Ceci was only enforcing a directive from her son who was not in a mood to receive visitors.
In all the back and forth, Bishop Nyarko’s mother has been on the quiet and has not been seen anywhere. Making her first appearance on social media, Auntie Ceci has broken down in tears as she spoke about her son.
In a video sighted by chillxone.com, a crew from Adom TV had visited the family house of Bishop Nyarko as they planned for the one-week observance on Saturday, May 9, 2020. After exchanging greetings and making their the purpose of their visit known, the crew’s leader announced that they brought some items to help the family hold the one-week rite. Speaking to the visitors, Bishop Nyarko’s mother thanked them for the visit and prayed for God’s blessings fro them. She later got overwhelmed with emotions as she broke down in tears during the interaction.
