Social media users have descended on actor Prince David Osei after he claimed that a vote for Bawumia is a vote for change.

Prince David Osei in a social media post following his speech at the NPP Manifesto launch, said Dr Bawumia if voted into office would bring change to the lives of Ghanaians.

He wrote: “I urge you to vote for change by supporting Dr. Bawumia, as we transition from H.E. Nana Addo Danquah. This is essential for our progression and the continuation of the positive developments we have experienced. Piawww 🐘💙🤍❤️”

His post followed his speech at the manifesto launch where he said if Mahama is voted back into office he would plunge Ghana back into an abyss.

However, his comments that a vote for Bawumia is a vote for change triggered social media users.

“It’s the change that I don’t get, isn’t Bawumia a key member of the current government? So what will the change be Nana?” one netizen wondered.

Another said: “When you get paid you talk bullsh*t I pray your kids grow to see the hardships, You will blame yourself for saying this,”
