Wee Pastor Granted Bail In The Sum Of GHS 100K
Apostle Kwabena Owusu Adjei, the Prophet who was arrested while in a live interview with Hot Fm, after brazenly issuing threats of harm and death against the chairperson of the EC, Madam Jean Mensah, has been granted bail.
Apostle Adjei was remanded in custody two weeks ago when he appeared in court for the first time after his much-talked-about arrest.
The Prophet pleaded not guilty to the threat of death, contrary to Section 75 of the Criminal and Other Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29), offensive conduct conducive to the breach of peace and possession of narcotic drugs.
In addition to the bail sum, he is to produce three sureties of Public servants earning not less than GHS2,000. The case has therefore been adjourned to July 21, 2020.
