A woman has taken to social media to share a troubling account of domestic abuse and betrayal after discovering an intimate relationship between her husband and his close male friend.
In a Facebook post shared by a user identified as Urica Ama Eyram Dufie on behalf of the anonymous sender, the woman recounted how she stumbled upon the discovery while checking her husband’s phone.
According to her account, she came across a message from her husband’s longtime friend identified as Zweli, which reportedly read: “I can’t get over what you did to me yesterday.”
Curious about the message, she says she opened the chat conversation and found several intimate messages and photographs between the two men.
The woman claimed the images included photos of the pair embracing and kissing, as well as other pictures that suggested a romantic relationship.
She described the moment as shocking, stating that she had been married to her husband for 15 years and had no prior knowledge of such a relationship.
According to her account, when she confronted her husband about the discovery, the situation quickly escalated.
She alleged that instead of explaining himself, her husband became angry about her going through his phone and physically assaulted her.
The woman said she is currently receiving treatment in the hospital as a result of the alleged attack.
She further claimed that after the incident, her husband sent her a message asking for a divorce despite their long marriage and the fact that they share three children.
The woman also alleged that her husband serves as a pastor at their church, making the situation even more difficult for her to process.
