Information gathered by our outfit indicates that Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known in the showbiz circles as Sarkodie, has been ranked as the first African rapper among the first 20 global rappers. This is according to Rap City of South Africa.
According to Rap City South Africa, Sarkodie came 14th among the best 50 rappers in the world. This makes the Sarkcess CEO the only Ghanaian rapper rapper to recognised globally by the academy.
Rap City SA took to it’s official Twitter page and made the announcement with caption;
”Ghanaian rapper @sarkodie has been ranked 14th and South African rapper @akaworldwide has been ranked 45th in the worlds 50 best rappers by Global Rankings.”
