Hon. Sanja Nanja further strengthens his vision of sports development in his constituency, by funding the annual U-13 MP’s Cup competition for 2025.
Being the brain behind the creation of this competition across the entire nation, the Hon. Member ones again affirmed his commitment in churning out talents for the nation’s footballing industry.
The 11th edition of MP’s cup is slated for 21st and 22nd September of this year at Atebubu Anglican Park. Budget for the competition has been approved by the MP, as well as donating footballing equipments to facilitate it’s successful organisation.

A trophy, 12 sets of jerseys, 10 footballs, medals and a cash sum have been handed to the Atebubu – Amantin municipal P.E coordinator Nana Nimo Maxwell.

Football is now a big business and we understand some of the MP’s cup products have made it to the professional level. This is testament of a good course, and that our fundings haven’t gone down the drain.
Football is a form of entertainment, but also an avenue to develop human resource.
The Municipal P.E coordinator expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support from the M.P.
