A young man has been incarcerated by police after causing mayhem at the Prempeh I international Airport
According to eyewitnesses, the individual entered the airport unnoticed before suddenly throwing stones and attacking workers.
A video of the incident shows the young man holding a stone and engaging in a physical altercation with airport staff.
The workers eventually subdued him, preventing further damage.
As he was restrained, the young man repeatedly shouted “Awurade, Awurade, Awurade” (a Ghanaian expression meaning “Lord, Lord, Lord”). Airport authorities subsequently handed him over to the police for further investigation and action
