Chelsea taken apart by energetic Leeds

Scorers: Aaronson 33′, Rodrigo 37′, Harrison 68′.
Sent off: Koulibaly (84′)
Ten-man Chelsea suffered their first defeat of the season after being blown away by an impressive Leeds United at Elland Road.
The picture could’ve been very different for Thomas Tuchel’s side had Raheem Sterling’s curler gone in after 45 seconds but the effort from just inside the area flashed just wide of the post.
It was the hosts who sneaked ahead after 33 minutes with a huge helping hand from Edouard Mendy.
The Chelsea goalkeeper received a pass back but took too long to clear his lines, allowing Brenden Aaronson to nick the ball off his toes and tap in to the empty net.
Within four minutes Jesse Marsch’s men were two goals ahead as the in-form Rodrigo headed home his fourth goal of the season from Jack Harrison’s free-kick into the box.
Illan Meslier made two strong saves to deny Connor Gallagher and Reece James as the visitors searched for a way back into the game but Leeds put the result beyond all doubt in the 68th minute.
Daniel James’ cross was diverted towards goal by Rodrigo before being poked in by Harrison from just inside the six-yard box.
It was a humbling day for Tuchel and Chelsea, which got worse when Kalidou Koulibaly was sent off late on for two bookable offences.
Leeds make it two wins out of three at the start of their campaign, having scored at least two goals in all of their games.
West Ham’s poor start continues

West Ham0

Brighton2
Scorers: Mac Allister (PEN) 20′, Trossard 66′.
West Ham United remain without a goal and a point at the start of the season after being taken apart by a stylish Brighton and Hove Albion.
Thilo Kehrer, making his Premier League debut, gave away a penalty after bringing down Danny Welbeck which allowed Alexis Mac Allister the opportunity to dispatch from 12 yards in which he duly obliged.
David Moyes brought on new frontman Gianluca Scamacca in the last 25 minutes to try and salvage something for his side.
But the picture got bleaker for the hosts when Leandro Trossard extended Brighton’s lead, finishing off a well-worked move by sliding the ball past Łukasz Fabiański from close range.
West Ham sink to the bottom of the table while Graham Potter’s side extend their unbeaten start to the campaign.
