Joint 77, one of the members of the defunct SM Militants, has expressed profound gratitude to Shatta Wale for helping him build his music career.
Shatta Wale recently disbanded SM Militants made up of Natty Lee, Captan, Addi Self, and Joint 77.
In an interview on Hitz FM and monitored by chillxone.com, Joint 77 said he will forever be grateful to Shatta Wale for holding him down which influenced his decision to do a song to honour him.
Joint 77 said Shatta Wale gave his career a Midas touch to help brand his image.
“I dedicated the ‘Shatta Wale’ song to Shatta Wale because he has done a lot for me. I wanted to thank him for everything he has done for me, for putting me on. It’s a thanksgiving song.”
Joint 77 shot to fame after Shatta Wale featured him alongside Captan, Addi Self, and Natty Lee on his ‘Taking Over’ hit song.
