Bishop Bernard Nyarko certainly did not have it easy before his sad death on Saturday, May 2, 2020. In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, the late actor was narrating an ordeal he suffered in the hands of his wife at a point in time. He was speaking with actress Emelia Brobbey on her Okukuseku show.
According to Bishop, at a time that he was going through just too many troubles in his life, his wife left home and refused to talk with him. Unable to bear the pain anymore, the actor said he resolved to take his own life to end it all.
He went ahead to get some ropes to get rid of himself after he wrote many letters of the issues he was suffering. However, when he was ready to hang himself, he remembered a song by Kojo Antwi which talks of a brighter future.
That song, Bishop said, brought a sort of calmness to his mind and he immediately discarded the idea of killing himself. While narrating his ordeal, the late actor burst into tears that he couldn’t speak for a moment. The host of the show, Brobbey, could also not hold back her tears.
