A post sighted by chillxone.com on the verified Twitter account of Ameyaw Debrah shows the extent of Poyoo’s trend in the African country, Zimbabwe, which may be just one of many countries the Ghanaian rapper is making waves in.
In the post, there was a conversation between Ameyaw Debrah and a journalist from Zimbabwe who was urgently looking for a way to reach AY Poyoo in order to tap into his trend in the African country.

AY Poyoo became a sensation on social media as he kept releasing freestyle videos of his barechested self giving hilarious rap lines.
Following his early fame, just about two weeks after his first video came out, the young Ghanaian rapper’s influence grew stronger as he received media publicity from some popular media houses in Ghana.
On June 8, 2020, Poyoo released a music video titled AY POYOO- GOAT. In 10 days, the video has had over 300,000 views and has been trending not only in Ghana but in South Africa, Zimbabwe and other countries as well.
